During my four years at Mount St. Mary’s University, I worked as a graphic design intern in the communications department under the director of publications. One of my favorite projects as an intern was creating the 2008 Bicentennial calendar that was distributed throughout the university, to alumni and prospective students. Celebrating 200 years, the theme of the calendar was yesterday and today showcasing how the university was in 1808 and then in 2008. My supervisor in the communication department gave me complete design control on the calendar from start to finish.
