My graphic design career started early in the second grade with an apparel design contest. It would be the first of many design contests I would win throughout my primary to higher education. I became hooked on seeing my designs out in the world for all to see. I joined every club I could that would allow me to utilize my design skills, from yearbook to the school newspaper.

In college, while other freshman were still debating on their major, I entered Mount St. Mary's University knowing I wanted to major in Visual Arts with a minor in Communication Studies. In between my studio classes and graphic design classes, I began an internship as a graphic designer in the university's communication office. As an intern, I was able to create exciting projects ranging from mailers to magazine layouts to the schools annual calendar.

Since graduating college, I have continued to improve my layout and design skills through freelance work and positions in the communications and marketing field.
